VIOGNIER

The Viognier is the "exotic" variety in the vineyard portfolio. The cold nights, typical of the Elgin Valley, help extend the ripening process and retain the acidity and freshness of the grapes. The canopy management, which together with the northeast facing slope helps to ensure that bunches are ripened to express the typical nuances of Viognier.
